Few thoughts stand out:
- Many a time, when God asks us to go before Him, there will be adverse times of struggle and hardship ("..the wind was against them").
- When God shows up, we think He is against us, not for us. Sometimes we do not even recognize Him at work, or worse still think that it is the devil ("... supposed it was a ghost")
